Semex's Alfonso Ahedo To Receive International Friend of Dairy Breeding Award At Quebec International Holstein Show
Article posted on October 18, 2012, 11:31:13

Semex’s distributor in Spain, Alfonso Ahedo, will receive the “International Friend in Dairy Breeding Award” on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at the 18th edition of the Québec International Holstein Show.

Awarded annually, the “International Friend in Dairy Breeding Award” acknowledges a significant contribution made by a person from outside Québec to the promotion of Québec dairy cattle breeding. Alfonso Ahedo is extremely well-known in Québec, as a perennial visitor to Quebec and supporter of the Quebec dairyman.

“It is no surprise to us that Alfonso would be honoured with this award,” says Brad Sayles, Semex Vice-President Global Marketing. “His passion, enthusiasm and love of the dairy cow is known worldwide. He is an astute marketer and friend of dairy cattle breeding, having participated in Quebec events for decades. We are extremely proud of all of his accomplishments and feel honoured to have him as part of the Semex family.”

The 18th edition of the Québec International Holstein Show is scheduled for November 2 and 3 at the Pavillon des Pionniers in Saint-Hyacinthe, Quebec, Canada.
