On October 5, 2011, Semex Hungary proudly opened its doors to more than 300 dairy farmers for its annual open house.

This year's event was especially important as it also marked the completion of Semex's new state-of-the-art bull comfort facility. This new barn maximizes quality and efficiency, employing the latest technologies in the world as well as Semex's Gold Standard.

These barns are industry-leading with exceptional bull comfort considerations being given to lighting, space and air quality. This facility is home to some very famous Semex sires including the world's #1 GTPI sire 0200HO07450 Amighetti Numero Uno.

On-hand for the event were: Semex Alliance Board Member Tim Hofstra; Semex Alliance Director International Sales & Business Development Asia, Middle East & Central/Eastern Europe, Sam Mitra; Semex Alliance, Director, Operations Susan Dunk; and Semex Alliance Vice President, Global Operations Robert McRae.
