Semex Walk of Fame: WDE's Most Talked About Exhibit!
Article posted on October 8, 2010, 13:02:12

noneWorld Dairy Expo (WDE) is certainly the place where the dairy industry meets, and last week Semex's Walk of Fame was one of the most talked about exhibits on the show grounds.

Featured in this year's annual Walk of Fame display were daughters of some of the Holstein industry's most talked about sires including:

· 0200HO05567 R-E-W Seaver
· 0200HO05588 Comestar Lauthority
· 0200HO05024 Dudoc Mr Burns *RC
· 0200HO05577 Gillette Jerrick
· 0200HO05575 Gillette Jordan
· 0200HO05592 Crackholm Fever
· 0200HO02137 Pine-Tree Sid

"This year Semex showcased daughters of some of the industry's most in-demand sires," says Paul Krueger, Semex Alliance Director, Sales & Business Development, USA. "Large and small dairymen arrived looking for the Semex Walk of Fame and were very impressed with each and every one of the daughters. We showcased our Goldwyn sons. Each of these bulls is unique, offering something different to each mating. World Dairy Expo visitors saw this, and appreciated the variety of our entire product line, spending time with our sales team and learning more about the impressive suite of solutions Semex offers."

One of the more popular cows on display was a daughter by 0200HO02137 Pine-Tree Sid. Micheret Alexandra Sid VG-86-2YR-CAN placed 5th in the Sr. 2 Yr Old class at the WDE International Holstein Show last week, capturing Best Udder Award as well as 1st Bred & Owned.

"There's no doubt that Semex's lineup has never been stronger, more diverse or more profitable for dairymen," says Brad Sayles, Semex Alliance Vice President, Global Marketing. "At World Dairy Expo, Semex showcased daughters of our most sought after sires, while building relationships with dairymen from coast to coast. These sires, along with our suite of solutions for dairymen, are leading the industry by offering real dairymen real solutions. World Dairy Expo solidified Semex's position as an industry leader and reinforced our belief that 'Every Dose Counts'.

Visitors to Semex's display also were provided with the Semex Client Value Guide (CVG). The CVG is a unique tool in which producers are able to define their own breeding goals and parameters to return a customized breeding guide with Semex sires hand-selected to meet their individual needs.

For more information on the CVG, the sires featured at the Walk of Fame or on any of Semex's growing suite of programs designed to increase real dairy profitability, please visit www.semex.com or contact your Semex representative.
