The Semex Alliance is pleased to announce the winner of the 2nd Annual Semex Beef Photo Contest is Francis Gagnon of Chénéville, Québec, Canada.

Francis submitted this incredible portrait of Black Angus cattle out on pasture at Ferme Gagnon. Featured in the photo from left to right are FGAF 4120 122Y (sired by 200AN0305 FGAF Hollywood 602S), FGAF Miss Fame 121 (sired by 200AN0305 FGAF Hollywood 602S), FGAF First Pride 514R (sired by 059AN0947 Hoff First Edition 058 242), FGAF Rosebud 109Y (sired by 200AN0807 Duff Generator 864), FGAF Daisy 117Y (sired 059AN1297 by Duff New Attraction 6110) and FGAF Rosebud 112Y (sired by 200AN0807 Duff Generator 864).

This winning photo will be on display at the 2011 Royal Agricultural Winter Fair, hanging over the Ring of Excellence as the feature photo in the Semex Beef banner. Additionally, it will be featured in the 2012 Semex Beef Catalogue that will be released December 2011 to beef producers worldwide.
